Verified Users

Overview

In the context of privacy-focused tools, Verified users represent a key difference that balances the need for on-chain privacy with the responsibility of preventing misuse.

Traditional mixers allow anyone to deposit, which, while preserving anonymity, has led to issues about their use in illicit activities. By introducing a system that restricts access to verified users, we can create a privacy pools that prioritizes legitimate use cases.

Who is a verified user?
